On this page you will find the steps to connect the EATON DC charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Green Motion DC Installation guide

  • Configuration device: laptop

  • Ethernet cable

Follow the steps

Note: The Green Motion DC EV charger can be configured via a web portal using the configuration page. The web portal is accessible from a laptop, connected via Ethernet to the internal Teltonika RUTX09 modem/router. The web portal is supported by Chrome, Opera, and Firefox web browsers. It is not supported by the Safari browser.

Step 1: Turn the EV charger off using the circuit breaker and connect a laptop with an RJ-45 cable to any of the LAN ports of the Teltonika router inside the charger (consult the installation guide for more information).

Step 2: Turn the EV charger on using the circuit breaker and wait for the LED indicator on the EV charger to turn green.

Step 3: Using a web browser, navigate to the address: http://192.168.52.11. You may see a warning message before you get to the configuration page. You can safely ignore this warning and proceed further. Click the “Proceed to 192.168.52.11 (unsafe)” hyperlink (see below) to proceed to the configuration page.

Step 4: Once you’ve proceeded to the give address, you will enter the configuration page as shown in the screenshot below.

Note: When connecting the EV charger via the Ethernet, the configuration session is active for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the EV charger must be restarted for the configuration session to be resumed.

Step 5: Navigate to the OCPP configuration section in the configuration page and enter the following values:

  • Server URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux/{BoxId}

  • Security Profile: 2 - TLS user/password authentication

  • User: ‘Leave empty’

  • Password: ‘Leave empty’

Step 6: Click “Save” and “Restart App” in the Reboot and Apply section at the bottom of the configuration page.

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 7. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 8.

Step 7: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.

  2. Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.

  3. Click on “Setup charging station”.

  4. Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.

  5. Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!

*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.

Step 8: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Ask your installer to complete Step 7 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.

  2. Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.

    • Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.

  3. Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.

  4. Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.

  5. The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!

The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
