What is email verification for existing users?
Email verification ensures that every user has a confirmed email address linked to their account. This extra layer of security helps prevent unauthorized access, improves the reliability of important communications, and keeps user records accurate. While we’ve already implemented phone verification, we’re now adding email verification to strengthen account security even further.
Steps to verify email:
Log in to your account and locate the verification banner on the home dashboard.
Click “verify e-mail” and automatically an e-mail will be generated.
Open your email inbox and find the email with the verification link.
Click the link to confirm your email address.
Once verified, you will receive a confirmation message, and the banner will no longer be visible.
In account settings - the e-mail address will show up as verified.
