Verifying your bank account is a quick and secure step that helps us confirm your details and ensures a smooth experience for any future transactions. This process helps us comply with regulations and keep your account secure.

Your bank verification process

Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide on how to verify your bank account during sign-up:

  1. Enter your bank account details:

    • During the sign-up process, you will be prompted to enter your bank account details into the secure fields provided.

  2. Select your verification method:

    • You will be guided to select your preferred secure method for bank verification. For customers in the Netherlands, this process is typically done via iDEAL | Wero.

  3. Log in to your bank:

    • You will be securely redirected to your online banking environment through a trusted third-party service. Please log in using your usual online banking credentials.

  4. Confirm the small transaction:

    • For verification purposes, our system will request a very small charge of €0.01 (one cent) from your bank account. This minimal charge helps us confirm the account's ownership and validity.

    • Keep in mind: This is a verification step, and the amount will usually be returned to you or is just a check, depending on your bank. The purpose is to confirm the account.

  5. Accept and process the payment:

    • Within your online banking environment, you will need to review and accept this €0.01 transaction.

    • Follow your bank's instructions to process this verification payment.

  6. Confirmation:

    • Once the transaction is successfully processed, our system will automatically update your account to confirm that your bank details are verified.

    • You can then continue with your sign-up process.
