Step 1: Understanding the process and exporting the required data

As a Charge Point Operator (CPO), you are required to complete this template each year to meet UK compliance regulations.

To make this process easier for you, we provide a ready-to-use data export from our platform. This export includes all the key data points you’ll need to complete the template accurately and efficiently.

In the steps below, we’ll walk you through how to use the export to fill in your report, quickly, correctly, and without hassle.

Where to start?

To begin the reporting process, you’ll first need to export the raw reliability data from the platform. The steps differ slightly depending on your user role:

  • For Providers:
Go to Charging StationsExportsExport Reliability Data

  • For Account Admins:
Go to My LocationsExportsExport Reliability Data

This export includes all the data required to complete the PCPR reporting template in the next steps.

How to export data?

  1. Log in to your portal.

  2. Navigate to:

    1. Charging Stations or/and My Locations --> Exports --> Export Reliability Data.

  3. Select the year (e.g. 2024)

  4. Click export to download a .csv file containing the following fields

Account & location information

  • account_name — Account name where the EVSE belongs to.

  • location_name — Location name where EVSE is assigned to.

  • location_address — EVSE controller location address.

Technical identifiers

  • euid — EVSE Unique Identifier

  • ocpp_id — Internal chargestation reference.

  • charging_station_evseid — EVSE controller EVSE ID.

  • connector_evseid — EVSE controller connector EVSE ID.

Technical specifications

  • connector_type — AC/DC.

  • standard — The connector type standard used by the charge point (e.g. IEC_62196).

  • powerType — Indicates whether the station provides AC or DC power.

  • maxPower — Maximum power output (in kW) the charge point can deliver.

  • max_power — Max power of station. CPO should be able to filter for fast chargers.

Granularity

  • year — The calendar year the data is aggregated for, used for annual reporting.

  • month — The month within that year, allowing more detailed performance tracking.

OCPI statuses

  • available — No session ongoing.

  • charging — A charging session was in progress.

  • reserved — Duration for which the charge point was booked in advance, making it unavailable to others, but not yet actively charging.

  • inoperative — The charge station was offline or unable to operate, possibly due to maintenance.

  • outOfOrder — The station was marked as faulty or broken, indicating a known issue preventing normal operation.

  • blocked — The connector was occupied by a plugged-in vehicle but not actively charging.

  • planned — The charge station was in a planned (but not yet active) state, often used before deployment.

  • removed — The charge station was removed from service or unregistered, no longer tracked in the operational system.

  • unknown — OCPI-defined status used when the EVSE’s state is not known or cannot be retrieved.

  • unspecified — Internal status used when no valid or recognized status is reported by the EVSE.

This file contains all the raw data you need to complete the official UK reliability report. It shows the total operational time in minutes for each status across all connectors for each charge point and more.

*Important for Provider Admins:*
Due to technical limitations, the data must be exported per account. At this time, it is not possible to export data for all charge points across all accounts in one go.
