Manual: Delta Electronics DC

On this page you will find the steps to connect the Delta Electronics DC charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Delta Electronics Configuration Manual

  • Configuration device: laptop

  • LAN cable

Follow the steps

Step 1: Look for the Run application in your Windows search bar and enter ncpa.cpl to access the network settings of your device.

Step 2: Select the IPv4 settings of the LAN network and change the settings to the following:

  • IP Address: 10.2.0.254

  • Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0

Step 3: Connect a LAN cable between the laptop and the LAN port on the switch located in the charger (Ethernet switch LAN3 port).

Step 4: Open your web browser and enter the IP address of the charger based on the last four digits of the serial number. For example, if the serial number ends with 0241, open the website 10.2.2.41:8080, if the serial number ends with 1241, then open the website 10.2.12.41:8080.

Step 5: Once the WebUI main page opens, click on Config to open the configuration menu.

Step 5: Enter the following credentials in the login screen:

  • User name: service

  • Password: ‘provided by Delta service’

Step 6: Open the OCPP settings of the charger.

Step 7: Select ConnectionParameters.

Step 8: Enter the following parameter as the CsAddress:

  • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/e-flux

  • When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/e-flux

Step 9: If an E-Flux by Road SIM card is used to setup the connection, the APN settings must be configured accordingly. This can be done in the Interfaces menu.

Step 10: Select the MobileBroadband tab.

Step 11: Enable the cellular network and enter the following APN:

  • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: m2m.services

  • When using a purple Road SIM card: road.io

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 12. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 13.

Step 12: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.

  2. Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.

  3. Click on “Setup charging station”.

  4. Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.

  5. Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!

*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.

Step 13: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Ask your installer to complete Step 12to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.

  2. Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.

    • Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.

  3. Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.

  4. Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.

  5. The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!

The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
