Manual: Garo Entity PRO MID and Entity PRO

On this page you will find the steps to connect the Garo Entity PRO MID and Entity PRO charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Configuration device: Mobile phone

  • Manual app Entity App Installation Manual.pdf

  • Garo Connect GARO Connect - Apps on Google Play GARO Connect App - App Store

IMPORTANT: you should always move the DLM-Master (King) and it will take the followers with. So it’s not necessary to point each charging station to the new backend, only the one that is the Local controller.

Follow the steps

Step 1:Create a new account in the GARO Connect app. Follow the instructions on the screen. Log on to the GARO Connect app with provided credentials.

Step 2:Go to the installers menu and than go Change installation for existing location and te then to extended.

Step 3: Than go to the configuration and the scroll to GaroRemoteCsmsUrl and click on Select form list and select E-Flux by Road.io

Step 4: Then select ‘'Choose’' (Wählen) and then Restart the station via ‘'Jetz neustarten’'

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 5. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 6.

Step 5: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.

  2. Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.

  3. Click on “Setup charging station”.

  4. Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.

  5. Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!

*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.

Step 5: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Ask your installer to complete Step 5 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.

  2. Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.

    • Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.

  3. Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.

  4. Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.

  5. The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!

The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
