Manual: Hellonext H1 22 Gen 2

On this page you will find the steps to connect the Hellonext H1 22 Gen 2 charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Configuration guide Hellonext

  • EVbee Service App

  • Configuration device: mobile phone

Follow the steps

Step 1: Open the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile phone or laptop and locate the charger’s Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi name is generated from the charger’s serial number (SN). For example:

  • Charger SN: 9024030000903101050297A01

  • Wi-Fi name: 050297-240300009

The Wi-Fi password is the same as the Wi-Fi name.

Note: You can find the charger’s serial number (SN) on the nameplate located on the right side of the charger, or under Serial No. in the Device Info interface on the touchscreen.

Step 2: After connecting to the charger’s Wi-Fi network, the default browser on your phone or laptop will automatically open the login page (Google Chrome is recommended). If the login page does not open automatically, you can access it manually by entering 192.168.1.1 in your browser and then logging in.

Step 3: You will then see the login interface. Enter the password 123456 to access the Home Page.

Step 4: Navigate to the OCPP setup menu and enter the following values:

  • OCPP URL:

    • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/e-flux

    • When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/e-flux

  • CPID: enter the unique serial number of the charger or use the EVSE ID provided by E-Flux by Road.

Step 5: Go to the Internet setup menu and configure the preferred network method (Wi-Fi, 4G or Ethernet). If a Road SIM card is used, you must configure the right APN name:

  • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: m2m.services

  • When using a purple Road SIM card: road.io

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 6. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 7.

Step 6: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.

  2. Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.

  3. Click on “Setup charging station”.

  4. Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.

  5. Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!

*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.

Step 7: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Ask your installer to complete Step 6 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.

  2. Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.

    • Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.

  3. Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.

  4. Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.

  5. The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!

The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
