Manual: V2C Denka

On this page you will find the steps to connect the V2C Denka charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • V2C Cloud mobile application

  • Configuration device: mobile phone

Step 1: Open the V2C Cloud mobile application on your mobile phone and create an account.

Step 2: Complete the steps to pair your charger to the application and navigate to the OCPP settings of the charger.

Step 3: Activate the OCPP protocol.

Step 4: Enter the following values and click on save:

  • OCPP URL:

    • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/e-flux

    • When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/e-flux

  • CPID: enter the unique serial number of the charger or use the EVSE ID provided by E-Flux by Road.

Note:
When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 5. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 6.

Step 5: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.

  2. Go to setup new EVSE in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.

  3. Click on setup charging station.

  4. Click on upload configuration, then click next.

  5. Choose and define the connector type, and choose save connector configuration.

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!

*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.

Step 6: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Ask your installer to complete step 5 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.

  2. Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.

    • Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.

  3. Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.

  4. Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.

  5. The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!

The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
