Roaming hubs help us expand our network and ensure you are never too far from a reliable, accessible charging station. Through our strategic partnerships with Hubject, Gireve, and e-Clearing, we help expand international coverage, unlocking thousands of additional charging points across the continent.
This article explains the coverage of these networks, how pricing works, and how you can manage these locations within your app.
External roaming platforms like Gireve, e-Clearing, and Hubject have pricing structures which include a fee for each charging station which runs through their platforms. We transparently pass this cost on to our users. These fees are additional costs associated with using charge points that are not directly managed by E-Flux but are accessible via specific external networks. These fees help cover administrative and processing expenses necessary for enabling charging through these third-party providers.
Your total session cost consists of the operator’s charging tariff plus a €0.40 (ex. VAT) Roaming Hub Processing Fee. Please note that operator tariffs vary by location and may include costs for energy (kWh), time, starting fees, or idle fees. This €0.40 (ex. VAT) service fee will appear in your invoice as a ‘Roaming hub processing fee’. It allows us to connect you seamlessly to premium international networks like Hubject, Gireve, and e-clearing.
Tip: For most locations, you can see the live rates and applicable fees by selecting a station in the E-Flux by Road app before you begin your session.

I’m at a Hubject/e-Clearing/Gireve station that isn’t in the app. Can you add it?
We are constantly expanding our reach to better serve our drivers. If a specific Hubject station is missing from the map, it is usually because the operator does not yet meet our standards for real-time data reliability. We continuously work with our partners to investigate these locations and include them in future map updates as data quality improves.
Why hasn't my roaming session appeared in my account yet?
While most charging sessions appear in your account immediately, international roaming sessions often involve a brief processing delay as we sync data with our global partners. We recommend allowing several business days for these transactions to be finalised and visible in your account history.
Can I filter these stations out on my E-Flux map?
Yes. If you prefer to only see stations without a hub processing fee, you can adjust your view using the "Without an additional fee per session” toggle within the map filter settings in your app. You can see it toggled on in the image below.
