If you charge both for work and privately at the same home station, you can keep costs separated using two different charge cards — one linked to your company, one to your personal account.
How billing works by card type
The account linked to your charge card determines who pays for the session:
Work card (linked to your employer's company account) → the session is billed to your employer, and you receive reimbursement.
Personal card (linked to your private account) → the session is billed to you, or can be set to free via an access group.
No manual setup is needed to link your employer's card to your home charger. Simply tapping the card at your station is enough — it is already tied to your employer's account.
Setting up the separation
Use your employer-issued card for all work-related charging sessions.
Use your personal card for private sessions.
Create an access group and add your personal card to it, setting sessions to free if you do not want to be billed for private use.
What about a family member charging at your station?
If a household member needs to charge at your station without affecting your business reimbursement:
Give them a charge card linked to their own private account.
Add their card to your access group and mark it as free.
Their sessions will not generate an invoice — electricity costs are covered through your energy provider.
Alternatively, you can enable roaming on your station. With roaming active, any compatible charge card can be used, the charge card provider is invoiced for the session, and you receive the reimbursement automatically.
