How do I set a tariff for my home charging station?

Learn how to configure a charging tariff on your home station, including setting sessions to free for private use.

You can set a tariff on your home charging station to control how charging sessions are billed. This is useful when you want to separate business reimbursement from private (free) charging.

Setting a tariff

To configure a tariff for your charging station:

  1. Log in to the E-Flux by Road dashboard.

  2. Go to your charging station settings.

  3. Navigate to the Tariff section.

  4. Select or create the tariff you want to apply.

  5. Save your changes.

The tariff you set determines what is charged per kWh for sessions at your station. Sessions started with a charge card linked to a company account will be billed to that company at the configured rate.

Making private sessions free

If you want a specific charge card (for example, your personal or partner's card) to charge for free at your station, you can mark it as free in the access group settings:

  1. Create an access group for your station (see: How do I create an access group?).

  2. Add the private charge card to the access group.

  3. Set the session cost for that card to free — this means no invoice is generated and the electricity cost is covered directly through your energy provider.

Cards not included in this free group will continue to be charged at the standard tariff.
