Starting a charge session using your Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card in the E-Flux mobile app is available at certain public charge points. This functionality will be available for additional markets in the near future.
For drivers:
Download the E-Flux app from Apple’s App store or the Google Play store.
Create an account inside the mobile app.
Add your preferred payment method. We currently accept Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards. (If you already have a physical card/tag connected to you account, you can use this as payment method as well.)
Start your charging session.
Costs will be settled with your chosen payment method.
Please note we currently offer credit or debit card payment for individual accounts only. We are working to expand this functionality to organization accounts.
For charging stations of other providers, it was previously not possible to start a charge session from the E-Flux by Road app. However, with the latest developments in communication protocols, this has changed. A number of third-party charge point operators are now compatible with the E-Flux by Road app. We continue to expand this list as new operators become compatible. Check the E-Flux by Road app to see which stations are available near you.
Also note that this is only possible for public registered charging stations, so if you home charger is in private mode this feature will not be available to use.
