Cancelling your E-Flux by Road charge card is something that can be done directly on the dashboard. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to cancel your charge card.
Important Considerations
Cancellation vs. Blocking
It is important to understand the difference between these two actions before proceeding:
Blocking: This is a temporary measure. Use this if, for example, you have misplaced your card but think you might find it. It stops the card from being used but keeps the account active.
Cancellation: This is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once a card is cancelled, it is deactivated forever.
So, if you would like to use the card again in the future, choose to block it; however, if you no longer wish to use the charging card/tag services from E-Flux by Road, choose to cancel your subscription.
Step-by-Step guide for blocking or cancelling your charge card
Log in to your account via E-Flux dashboard.
Go to "My Cards": From the main dashboard menu on the left.
Locate Your Card: Find the specific card you wish to cancel in the list.
Open Action Menu: Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) located on the right-hand side of the card details under the "Actions" column.
Select Cancel: Click on "Block or Cancel Card" -from the dropdown menu.
Confirm & Submit: Click the purple "Submit" button. A confirmation message will appear stating, "The card has been cancelled," and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Your charging card/tag has now been blocked or cancelled; you can see this change reflected under the status of the card/tag.
If you have blocked the card/tag, you can unblock it at any time using the same button.
If you have cancelled the card/tag, you can always start a new subscription by going to "My Cards" > "Request card or tag" in the top right corner. Please note that a new charging card/tag will be sent to you, and you will be charged the one-time fee for a new card/tag.
After you have cancelled your charging card or tag, it is possible that you may still be charged for previous charging sessions. These sessions are not always processed immediately and may therefore be invoiced at a later time. We recommend taking this into account when cancelling your charging card or tag.
