Roaming connections for charging stations

When users visit your location, it’s great to offer them the convenience of charging their electric vehicle (EV) using their own charge card. E-Flux by Road enables this by having roaming connections with 28 different service providers. This allows over 1 million charging cards to start a session at a charging station connected to the E-Flux by Road eMobility platform.

Key benefit:

  • Lower cost for E-Flux cardholders: anyone using an E-Flux by Road charge card will pay €0.03 less per kWh compared to those using other cards.

This wide network of providers ensures that your EV customers will have seamless access to charging stations with their own cards across multiple platforms.

It is possible that your charge card provider is not listed, but still works at E-Flux by Road charging stations. This can have several reasons:

  • The charge card provider is connected to one of the roaming hubs E-Clearing or Gireve. If your charge card provider is connected to one of these roaming hubs, it should also work at E-Flux by Road charging stations.

  • Your charge card provider may also offer white-label cards. This means they issue cards that originally come from another charge card provider. Even though the card shows your provider’s logo, it actually works via the network of the original issuer. So check carefully which provider originally issued the card, as that provider may be listed among the compatible providers.
