What is Custom Pricing?
Custom Pricing is a feature that makes it possible to set different tariffs on card level. Important to know is that custom pricing is set on a group of users within an account.
Example: Account ‘Company X’ has 4 users (employees) that all own a charge card. The account admin can add the users to a Custom Pricing Access Group, and set a different (lower) tariff when they charge. This feature is available to everyone.
How does custom pricing work?
An account admin can create access groups in the account. When an access group is created with type “users”, the admin can add members to these access groups.
Navigate to: https://dashboard.e-flux.io/my-locations/access-groups;
Create an access group with type “users”;
Name the access group so it’s recognizable;
Select a visibility
Private: only visible to the person creating the access group
Shared: visible to all users in the account (consumer role and admins)
Add members:
Once the access group is created, open the access group;
Select “add member”;
Select a user in the account that needs to be added to this access group;
Select price type “custom”;
Choose a custom tariff for this user.
What is new for custom pricing for external users?
An account admin can still create access groups in the account. However, when an acces group is created with type "users", the admin now can also add E-Flux by Road users from other accounts.
Create the access group following the steps above. Only step 5 differs for custom pricing for external users:
Once the access group is created, open the access group;
Select “add member”;
Select “external E-Flux by Road user”
Enter the email address of the user that is already in the E-Flux by Road platform, but from a different account;
Choose price type “custom”;
Enter a price that is applied to this user.
