Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Configuration device: laptop

Follow the steps:

Step 1: Make sure the controller is connected to the network by a network cable and a router or a switch on one side and the ETH0 port of the charge controller on the other side.

Step 2: Turn on the circuit breaker/fuse, wait for about 5 minutes for the controller to start up after turning the circuit breaker/fuse on.

Step 3: Go to the IP-address of the controller, If a DHCP server exists in the network, the controller will automatically be assigned to an IP address and a host name. You can reach the controller by going to http://ev3000.local/. If problems occur this way, go directly to the IP address of the controller (see below).

Step 4: Run the following command in Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac) to perform a ping to the hostname.

  • ping ev3000.local -4 (Windows)

  • ping ev3000.local (Mac)

In this example, the IP address is 192.168.0.172. Go to http://192.168.0.172/ to reach the controller.

Step 5: Log into the web interface. Click on the indicated icon to log in. Enter the following information in the window that appears:

  • Username: manufacturer

  • Password: manufacturer

Step 6: Click on Charging park in the menu, then on Charging stations and search for the charging point. Next, click on the name and navigate to Configuration.

Step 7: Scroll down until you see Release Mode. From the drop-down list, select By OCPP. When there are multiple charge points connected to the same group of controllers you must also select the controller to which the RFID reader is connected. The OCPP ID must be unique for each charge point. The first charge point can be “1” for example, the second can be “2” etc. Click Save changes after you have finished.

Step 8: Click on Charging park in the menu, then OCPP and after that Configuration.
Fill in the serial number of your charger in the Chargestation serial number field and fill in the model of your charger (Veton_ONE, Veton_TWO, Veton_WALL or Veton_WallPlus). Next, click Save.

Step 9: Click on System control and then choose Time. Make sure that the date and time are set correctly. If they are not, change them so that they match the date and time on your computer. If any changes were made, click on Save. If the date and time were not set correctly, you will be asked to log in again.

Step 10: Click on System control in the menu and then on Network. Make sure that the No Gateway field has no check mark. If any changes were made click on Save.

Step 11: Click on System control in the menu and then on Status. After that click on Reboot system and wait for 5 minutes for the controller to restart. As of now the charger should be added to the E-Flux by Road platform.

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 12. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 13.
