Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Teltonika Energy app

  • Configuration device: mobile phone

Follow the steps:

Step 1: Download the Teltonika Energy app.

The app is necessary to access and manage smart features of your EV charger. The Teltonika Energy app is available for Google Play and the App Store. To download the app scan one of the QR-codes below.

Step 2: Pair the Teltonika charger with a smart device.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and open the Teltonika Energy app.

  2. Press the “Add new device” button.

  3. After you press the “Add new device” button, wait until your phone finds a Teltocharge device. Then select an EV charger from the list.

  4. After a few seconds a pairing table will pop up requiring a code to complete the pairing process.

  5. Insert the last 6 digits of the security code to pair a phone with the EV charger (see example below).

Step 3: Connect the Teltonika charger to the internet

Teltonika chargers can be connected to the Internet in three different ways:

  • WiFi - select your network from the list, insert the password and connect.

  • Mobile – to use cellular data , first of all, you need to insert a nano sim card inside the EV charger and then you can configure settings inside app.

  • Ethernet – plug in your cable and the internet should start working (if you want to configure settings, turn off the DHCP feature and make the changes).

Step 4: Connect the Teltonika charger to the E-Flux by Road backend

To connect to the E-Flux by Road backend, you have to enable the OCPP feature in the OCPP settings of the charger. Once you’ve enabled OCPP, you can fill in the following settings:

  • URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux/

  • Charge point identity: the serial number of your charger

Press Save.

Step 5. Reboot the charger.

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 6. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 7.

Step 6: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
