Configuration Requirements
Configuration package E-Flux by Road
Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi Hotspot
Follow the steps:
Step 1: The charger can be configured via the web portal using the configuration page. The configuration page can be accessed using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone connected to the EV charger via Ethernet or Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Note: The web portal is supported by Chrome, Opera, and Firefox web browsers. It is not supported by the Safari browser.
Connection via Ethernet:
Connect the RJ45 cable to port ETH0 (left port). Refer to Section 6.7 in the installation manual for more details.
Turn the EV charger OFF and then ON using the circuit breaker. Wait for the LED indicator on the EV charger to turn green.
Using a web browser, navigate to the address: http://192.168.51.1
Connection via Wi-Fi hotspot:
Turn the EV charger OFF and ON using the circuit breaker. Wait for the LED indicator on the EV charger to turn green.
Enable Wi-Fi on your phone, computer, or tablet, and search for available SSIDs.
The EV charger will appear as GM_XXXXXX, where XXXXXX is the last six digits of the serial number.
Each charger has a unique Wi-Fi hotspot password. The password is provided on the first page of the quick start guide that is included in the package. The password should be stored safely for future usage.
Use the provided password to log in.
Go to the address: http://192.168.53.1
Note: You may see a warning message before you get to the configuration page. You can safely ignore this warning and proceed further. The configuration session is active for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the EV charger will need to be rebooted and reconnected to resume the configuration.
Step 2: Accessing to the configuration page requires a username and password. By default, the username and password are both set to admin. Change the password and/or username after the first login. Please refer to Section User settings in the installation manual to modify/set your login identifier.
Step 3: Change the Configuration view from Quick to Advanced in the top right of the menu once you’ve entered the configuration page.
Step 4: Configure the Grid, Network and User Authentication settings according to the installation manual. Additional settings can be configured in the menu’s: Load Balancing, Smart Charging, Modbus, Maintenance and Reporting.
Step 5: Enter the OCPP Server menu, and fill in the following values:
Enabled: ‘Enable connection with OCPP server’
Protocol: OCPP 1.6
BoxId / ChargingStationId: ‘Fill in the unique serial number of the charging station’
Backend: Custom
Server URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux/{BoxId}
Security Profile: 2 - TLS user/password authentication
User: ‘Leave empty’
Password: ‘Leave empty’
Step 5: Click Save and apply at the bottom of the tab.
Step 6: Check the OCPP connection in the Status field.
If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 7. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 8.
Step 7: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.
Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.
Click on “Setup charging station”.
Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.
Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.
The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.
Step 8: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Ask your installer to complete Step 7 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.
Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.
Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.
Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.
Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.
The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!
