Important: If your computer runs on Microsoft Windows, download the CCU Drivers from the website. Follow the instructions given on the website. For Linux, Android and Mac OSX, the USB driver is part of the operation system. After CCU drivers are installed, it is possible to configure the controller board of the charge point.
Follow the steps:
Step 1: Connect the USB cable between the computer and the mini USB port on the controller board.
Step 2: Open the web browser and login to the local web interface at http://192.168.7.2

Step 3: Once you are inside, select the Configuration section from the left side menu. After this, click on the Setup tab from the top menu and slide the Advanced settings toggle.
Step 4: Open the Interface tab from the top menu. From the drop down WAN menu, select Wired. Then click and open the Wired subsection.
Step 5: From the drop down Configuration Method menu, select DHCP. If DHCP is not supported by your router, enter the network settings manually. After you finish this setting, click on Save.
Step 6: In Authorization settings, make sure that the charge point has the correct settings, as shown in the screenshot below. Make sure to click on Save.

Step 7: Navigate to the General tab on top. Make sure that the RFID lock is enabled and click on Save. This is mandatory for the E-Flux connection to work.
Step 8: Now navigate to Outlets and make sure that Authentication Mode is RFID. If you see "Open", please open the drop-down menu and select RFID, then click Save.
Step 9: Do a check of the status page to make sure that the Internet access operates correctly.
Step 10: Navigate to Configuration>Backend and enter the ChargeboxID (EVSE-ID provided by E-Flux). Set the communication protocol to OCPP v1.6 and enter the backend address (ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux). Press Save at the bottom of the page and reset the charger.
Step 11: Navigate to the status page and verify that the portal communication is established. Check to see if Backend connection and WAN connection are established.
If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 12. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 13.
Step 12: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.
Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.
Click on “Setup charging station”.
Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.
Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.
The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.
Step 13: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Ask your installer to complete Step 12 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.
Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.
Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.
Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.
Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.
The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!
