Configuration Requirements
Configuration package E-Flux by Road.
Contains: EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station.
Online installation & user guide Ratio Electric.
Ratio EV charging app.
Mobile phone.
Follow the steps:
Step 1: Connect the charger to the Ratio EV Charging app
Make sure the charger is connected to your mobile phone with Bluetooth.
Tap My chargers on the home screen.
Tap Add charger.
A list of all available chargers is shown.
Select the charger with the corresponding serial number.
Enter the 6-digit Bluetooth code and press Connect.
If the connection is successful, the charger is added to the My chargers screen.
Step 2: Go to OCPP settings
Go to Settings, then to Advanced settings in the Ratio EV Charging app. Click on the OCPP settings button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Choose E-Flux as back office provider
Click on Open Charge Point provider and then choose the provider E- Flux. Under OCPP settings you will now see the Charge Point ID of the charger. This Charge Point ID can be easily copied and must be used to register the charger on the E- Flux portal.
If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 4. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 5.
Step 4: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.
Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.
Click on “Setup charging station”.
Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.
Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.
The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.
Step 5: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Ask your installer to complete Step 4 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.
Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.
Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.
Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.
Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.
The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!
