On this page you will find the steps to connect the Hager charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Witty Share installation manual XEV1R22T2(XX)

  • RFID hotspot badge

  • Configuration device: laptop/mobile phone

Follow the steps:

Step 1: Activate RFID hotspot badge

When the charger is installed, power up the charger. Activate RFID hotspot badge. See the manual supplied by Hager.

Step 2: Activate the WiFi hotspot and connect your smartphone or laptop

Activate the WiFi hotspot with the RFID hotspot badge. Connect your tablet or smartphone and login to the charging station or connect the charger to your laptop by connecting the UTP cable. The hostname address is: Https://hager-evcs-”last 6 digits of the UID” (see sticker on the charger) or by direct UTP linking using IP address 192.168.0.100.

Step 3: Login to the charging station

Login with the following data:

  • Username: admin

  • Password: 1234

Step 4: Connect the charger to the E-Flux backoffice URL

  • Go to configuration

  • Change Config Type: protocol to OCPP

  • Fill out the CPO connection address; ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux

  • Fill out the unique Charge Point ID supplied by E-flux or use the serialnumber of the charger

Step 5: Reboot the charging station

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to step 6. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 7.

Step 6: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.

  2. Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.

  3. Click on “Setup charging station”.

  4. Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.

  5. Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.

  6. The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!

*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.

Step 7: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:

  1. Ask your installer to complete Step 6 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.

  2. Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.

    • Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.

  3. Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.

  4. Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.

  5. The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!

The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
