Configuration Requirements
Configuration package E-Flux by Road
Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station
A connected and functional charging station with:
A communication kit cat.no 0 590 56
A laptop to set the station and the communication kit
A RJ45 cable between the laptop and the communication kit
The latest update package (including OCPP) available on the Legrand e-catalogue (www.legrand.fr )
Follow the steps:
Step 1: Connect to the Communication Kit of the charger via the IP address 192.168.1.200 on your web browser.
Step 2: Login to the Green’Up webinterface by using the default Id and password (admin/admin).
Note: For a reminder of the first connection procedure, please check the communication kit’s instructions sheet LE09802A-XX.
Step 3: Once you’ve logged into the web interface, select the page Charging Mode.
Step 4: Select OCPP in the Charging mode selection tab.
Note: For a double charging station, the OCPP charging mode will be imposed on both sides of the station.
Step 5: After selecting the OCPP Charging mode, you can fill in the backoffice URL and UID of the station.
The following values have to be entered to connect the station to the E-Flux by Road backend:
URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux
UID: Fill in the unique serial number of the charger -> Legrand_XXXXXX
Step 6: Click on Save and activate the OCPP server connection to connect the charging station to the backend.
Note: If the IP configuration must be different than the standard IP (192.168.1.200.), then you have to change the network configuration of the communication kit through the Networks page. If you’re using an E-Flux by Road sim card, you can fill in the following values in the settings of the modem that you’re using:
APN Name: m2m.services
APN User Name: Leave empty
APN Password: Leave empty
Step 7: After configuring the OCPP and network settings, you can check the Server connection on the OCPP status page. Here you can find the following information:
Activation: If the variable is 1, the station tries to connect to the backoffice
URL/UID: Details of the backoffice connection
Server connection: Status of the connection to the backoffice
HeartbeatInterval: Interval of the heartbeats that will be sent to the backoffice (standard 60)
If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 8. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 9.
Step 8: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.
Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.
Click on “Setup charging station”.
Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.
Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.
The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.
Step 9: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Ask your installer to complete Step 8 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.
Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.
Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.
Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.
Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.
The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!
