Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • A connected and functional charging station with:

    • A communication kit cat.no 0 590 56

  • A laptop to set the station and the communication kit

  • A RJ45 cable between the laptop and the communication kit

  • The latest update package (including OCPP) available on the Legrand e-catalogue (www.legrand.fr )

Follow the steps:

Step 1: Connect to the Communication Kit of the charger via the IP address 192.168.1.200 on your web browser.

Step 2: Login to the Green’Up webinterface by using the default Id and password (admin/admin).

Note: For a reminder of the first connection procedure, please check the communication kit’s instructions sheet LE09802A-XX.

Step 3: Once you’ve logged into the web interface, select the page Charging Mode.

Step 4: Select OCPP in the Charging mode selection tab.

Note: For a double charging station, the OCPP charging mode will be imposed on both sides of the station.

Step 5: After selecting the OCPP Charging mode, you can fill in the backoffice URL and UID of the station.

The following values have to be entered to connect the station to the E-Flux by Road backend:

  • URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux

  • UID: Fill in the unique serial number of the charger -> Legrand_XXXXXX

Step 6: Click on Save and activate the OCPP server connection to connect the charging station to the backend.

Note: If the IP configuration must be different than the standard IP (192.168.1.200.), then you have to change the network configuration of the communication kit through the Networks page. If you’re using an E-Flux by Road sim card, you can fill in the following values in the settings of the modem that you’re using:

  • APN Name: m2m.services

  • APN User Name: Leave empty

  • APN Password: Leave empty

Step 7: After configuring the OCPP and network settings, you can check the Server connection on the OCPP status page. Here you can find the following information:

  • Activation: If the variable is 1, the station tries to connect to the backoffice

  • URL/UID: Details of the backoffice connection

  • Server connection: Status of the connection to the backoffice

  • HeartbeatInterval: Interval of the heartbeats that will be sent to the backoffice (standard 60)

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 8. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 9.
