Configuration Requirements

  • Configuration package E-Flux by Road

    • Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • For a wired connection:

    • A computer with the network card configured to 192.168.2.10

    • A RJ45 cable

  • For a remote connection:

    • A computer with access to the IP of the terminal (This function is only available with a software version of the terminal of at least 1.3.3.0.)

  • Installation guide DBT

Note: Websocket connections are accessible via two methods on DBT chargers:

  • Via a wired connection to the terminal via the local network switch

  • Via a remote connection via the network used for OCPP communication (provided that the SIM allows routing to the IP of the terminal from the computer that wishes to access the web pages)

Follow the steps

Step 1: Setting up the connection

  • Local wired connection: Connect one side of the RJ45 cable to an available port on the switch located inside the front door of the charger, and connect the other side of the cable to the computer.

  • Remote Connection: Insert a sim card in the modem of the charger that allows routing to the IP of the terminal from the computer which wishes to access the web pages.

Step 2: Access to the Web Pages

Open the internet browser and connect to the following address:

  • Wired connection: 192.168.2.127:2500

  • Remote connection: <@IPchargeur>:2500/index.html

You should arrive on the page as shown below.

In case of connection problems:

  • Wired connection: please check if the network cable is correctly connected, if the configuration of your network card is correct and try logging in again. To check the connection, it is possible to test a ping on the IP 192.168.2.127 (PLC) or 192.168.2.150 (OCPP modem).

  • Remote connection: please check if the IP of the terminal is accessible from the computer wishing to access the web pages

Step 3: Login to the Web Pages of the charger

To access the charger configuration pages, please use the following username and password:

  • Role: user

  • Password: qcng_dbt

Once logged in, you will access the following page:

Step 4: Enter the menu Param Cust User

In this menu it is possible to modify the name of the charger displayed on the home screen, the type of identification used to initiate a charge, the maximum output current of the DC charging points, the version and the address of the server OCPP, the charger's chargebox ID, how the modem connects to the internet and the Sim card settings:

Please enter the following values in the displayed parameters:

  • STATION_NAME: Fill in the unique serial number of the charger

  • IDENTIFICATION_TYPE: badge

  • DC1_OUTCURRMAX: Defined by DBT during the production process (Standard: 125)

  • DC2_OUTCURRMAX: Defined by DBT during the production process (Standard: 125)

  • OCPP_VERSION: 1.6J

  • OCPP_URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux

  • CHARGEBOXID_CUST: Fill in the unique serial number of the charger

  • INTERFACE: CELLULAR or WAN

  • CELLULAR_APN: auto;m2m.services

Step 5: Reboot the charger

Once the modifications have been made, click on the Save button and then on the Reboot button to apply the changes (the charger will then restart).

Note: Fill in the rest of the parameters from the menu’s TPE param User and DynX param User according to the installation manual, or use the standard values from DBT.
