Configuration Requirements
Configuration package E-Flux by Road
Contains: Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station
Configuration device: mobile phone
Follow the steps
Step 1: Download the EVTrip app from the Google Play Store or the App Store and create an account.
Step 2: Once you’ve created an account, go to Charger and click on Add charger as shown in the picture below.
Step 3: Scan the QR code on the charger to add the charger to your app. You can find the QR code on the housing of the controller. Use the BLE Passkey (below the QR code) to pair the controller with your smart device.

Step 4: Switch the jumpers on the board to the correct connection method. You can switch to either ETH or GSM to set up the network connection. Press the reset button after you’ve switched the jumpers.

Note: If you’re using a sim card to setup the network connection, please insert the sim card in the sim card slot located on the charge controller front panel. Follow these steps to set up the APN credentials:
Login to the EVtrip app
Enable Bluetooth on the smartphone
Select My Charger, Settings, Controller Settings
Use the BLE Passkey to pair the controller with your phone
Fill in the APN credentials:
APN: m2m.services
Username: ‘Leave empty’
Password: ‘Leave empty’

Step 5: To change OCPP configuration navigate to My Charger, Settings, Controller Settings, and then
Change the Server URL and Charge point ID to the following values:
Server URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.nl/1.6/e-flux
Charge Point id: ‘Enter the unique serial number of the charger’

If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 6. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 7.
Step 6: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.
Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.
Click on “Setup charging station”.
Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.
Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.
The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.
Step 7: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Ask your installer to complete Step 6 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.
Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.
Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.
Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.
Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.
The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!
The charging station is now connected to the E-Flux by Road platform!
