Follow the steps
Step 1: Use the Power Electronics Installation manual to savely complete the installation of the charger.
Step 2: Access the Webserver of the charging station by connecting your configuration device to the same network as the charging station. This can be done by installing a 3G/4G SIM card, by using the factory enabled wifi access point (Hotspot), by connecting the charger to an external wifi network or by a physical connection using an ethernet cable that must be connected to the port located inside the equipment.
Step 3: To access the Webserver, you must enter the IP address of the charger in your web browser: 192.168.204.10. After entering the web server, the corresponding username and password must be entered to login to the charger.
Step 4: Click on the Webmanager tab located at the top of the screen.
Step 5: Navigate to the Set up menu and click on the Communications button at the top.
Step 6: Configure the right network settings for the connection method used to setup the internet connection:
SIM 3G/4G:
APN: m2m.services
User: ‘Leave empty’
Password: ‘Leave empty’
PIN: 'Disable PIN'
Note: The settings shown above are only relevant if an E-Flux by Road simcard is inserted into the charger.
Wi-Fi:
Enable Wi-Fi: Enable or disable Wi-Fi
Network type: Define the type of network to which the unit should be connected
Hidden network: Switch on to connect to a network with a hidden SSID
SSID: Enter the SSID of the network to which the unit should be connected
Password: Enter the network password
Ethernet:
Enable single IP: Enable or disable the use of a unique IP for accessing the equipment
DHCP: If the DHCP selector is enabled, the IP is assigned automatically. Otherwise, the IP Address, Gateway, Netmask, DNS Primary and DNS Secondary can be set manually).
Step 7: Configure the right OCPP settings to connect the charger to the E-Flux by Road backend:
Websocket URL: ws://ocpp.e-flux.io:80/16-json/serialnumber
Enabled Ocpp: ‘Enable’
Timeout Websocket: 120
Notify charger status: ‘Enable’
WebSocketPingInterval: 60
Occupy logical connector: ‘Disable’
Step 8: Click on Apply and reset the charger in the System menu.
If you are the installer of the charging station, go to Step 9. If you are the owner of the charging station, go to step 10.
Step 9: Complete the following steps to activate the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Login to your Field Service Account or create a Field Service Account via www.e-flux.io/installer-signup*.
Go to “Setup New EVSE” in the menu on the left and enter the serial number or OCPP ID of the station.
Click on “Setup charging station”.
Click on Upload Configuration, then click Next.
Choose and define the connector type, and choose “Save Connector Configuration”.
The charging station is now activated and ready to be registered by the owner!
*A Field Service Account is for installers only and will be used as a point of contact for technical tickets.
Step 10: Complete the following steps to register the station on the E-Flux by Road platform:
Ask your installer to complete Step 9 to finish the configuration of your charger, or call E-Flux by Road to finish the configuration.
Create an E-Flux by Road account by going to www.e-flux.io/signup.
Is this charging station facilitated by your employer? Check your email for the invitation.
Follow the steps to add the location and register your charging station.
Put the sticker with the QR code on the charging station so it’s easier to identify the station if you need support.
The charging station is now registered and ready to be used!
