What is Roaming Activity?
Roaming activity provides valuable insights into the data exchanged between your charge stations and the broader roaming network. As an E-Flux by Road CPO customer, you can now monitor what information has been sent or updated, ensuring greater transparency and control over your charge station data.
Why is Roaming Activity Important?
This feature allows you to verify whether key details such as location information and tariffs, have been successfully shared with the roaming network. If you notice discrepancies in an EV app, reviewing the roaming activity can help determine whether the data has been transmitted. If the data has been sent but not updated on the app, we recommend reaching out to the company that provided the app to resolve the issue.
Where to Find Roaming Activity?
To access roaming activity details:
Navigate to Home > Charging stations > Locations in your E-Flux by Road dashboard.
Click on the relevant location to open the Location Detail Page.
Select the Roaming Activity tab.
What can you do in the Roaming Activity Tab?
View a comprehensive list of all updates that have been broadcasted.
Click on a specific update to see the exact message that was sent and the corresponding response received.
Check which OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface) connections were synchronized with the update.
Manually trigger a new sync if needed.
Toggle the auto-refresh feature to update the page automatically.
By utilizing the roaming activity tools, you can ensure that your charge station data is accurately represented across EV apps and platforms. This helps maintain a seamless charging experience for EV drivers and provides you with better control over your network’s visibility.
