*IMPORTANT: This feature is only available for public charging stations managed by E-Flux by Road*
You can now start a charging session directly from the app at any E-Flux charging station. Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up or log in
Download the E-Flux app and create an account, or log in if you already have one.
2. Add a payment method
New users: During signup, you’ll be prompted to add your billing information and a credit or debit card.
Existing users: You can update your payment details anytime in the billing section of the app.
3. Start charging
When selecting a E-Flux charging station in the app, you’ll see a 'Charge now' button on each connector.
Press start session, and your car will begin charging!
If you can't find the charging station on the map, you can also search on the address or manually search the EVSE ID. The manual search option is available after clicking the 'Charge now' button in the app. The EVSE ID starts with NL*EFL*EV or NLEFLEV followed by 7 numbers. This ID can mostly be found under de QR-code of the sticker on the charging station or is shown in the app.
If you don't have an account at E-Flux or the app installed. You can scan the QR-code on the station to start a session without installing or app. Note that this is not available on all stations.
How can to see if I'm at an E-Flux charging station
To check if you're at an E-Flux charging stations, you can check the following:
There is an E-Flux sticker on the charging station
Filter on E-Flux chargers in the E-Flux app. If the charging station still shows up, it's an E-Flux charging station.
The EVSE ID starts with NL*EFL*EV or NLEFLEV followed by 7 numbers.
Fees for In-App Payments
When you use our in-app payment options, such as Credit Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, a small fee of 3 cents per kWh is charged to the driver.
Sessions that are done in-app where the billing method is by creditcard, Apple- or Google-pay, are not getting invoiced monthly but will be debitted after the session from your account.
