The security risk of sharing one login
If multiple people at your organisation are currently logging in with the same email address and password to access the E-Flux by Road dashboard, this puts your account at a real security disadvantage. For more on our 2FA rollout, see Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
A shared login means a shared password, and a shared password is a larger attack surface: the more people who know it, the more places it can leak from: a forwarded email, a note on a desk, a personal device that isn't managed by your IT team. Every one of those is a potential entry point for someone else. And because two-factor authentication ties a second verification step to one specific device or phone number, a shared login can only ever be as secure as that single factor.
To give every one of our customers the strongest possible protection, we recommend that each person on your team has their own, individual account:
Their own email and password.
Their own independent 2FA setup (their own authenticator app or phone number verification).
A clear, individual record of who logged in and took which action — useful for accountability and for spotting anything unusual.
Full, uninterrupted access, without depending on someone else's device to log in.
How to invite your team members individually
Log in to the E-Flux by Road dashboard as an account admin.
Go to My Account → Users (or My Users).
Click + Invite user.
Fill in the person's details and choose their role:
Account admin: same rights as you — can add locations, invite other users, and manage the account.
Billing admin: can view invoices and edit billing details, without full account management rights.
Click Invite. The person will receive an email to complete their own sign-up and set up their own 2FA method.
